The Akon line of stainless steel curtain track can endure the harshest environments and looks great doing it. The 16 gauge stainless steel curtain track hardware is an ideal solution for outdoor applications, wash down areas, sea side and ocean side commercial facilities, and other environments that would rust normal curtain track.
NOTE: This track is exactly the same as our standard Galvanized Industrial Curtain Track except it is made of Stainless Steel. Stainless Steel is about 4x the cost of our standard galvanized steel track.
Applications for The Stainless Steel Track
This curtain hardware can be used for almost any application where rust is problematic and not allowed or preferred. The robust design of the stainless steel curtain track allows for a long service life and proper sanitation. Common applications includes:
- Wash down applications
- Clean room applications
- Food processing plants
- Pharmaceutical plants
- Car washes
- Washing bays
- Ocean Resorts
The stainless curtain track is constructed from stock components which you slide together onsite then using set screws you fasten it. This modular design allows for quick assembly and the ability to change the design later if need be. Very simple and very effective.
Types of Curtain Track Mounts
Ceiling Mount Curtain Track
Choose this mounting style if you want your industrial curtain track to mount to the ceiling with only a few inches of open gap.
Wall Mount Curtain Track
This curtain track mount is designed for mounting the track next to a vertical wall or stud. This can be parallel to the wall, or perpendicular.
Chain or Cable Curtain Track
Like the threaded rod, a chain supported curtain track is also good for spanning large distances. Both chain or cable can be used to hold up the track.
Threaded Rod Curtain Track
If the distance between the anchor points above is higher than where you want the curtain track, then a threaded rod mount might work well. Steel rods support the track and span the distance between the track and the ceiling.
I-Beam Curtain Track
When connecting to a truss, I-Beam or any other horizontal steel support this style of mount works best. Once connected, you simply tighten down the set screw.
